• Mountain Distillery Oblivion Gin

Oblivion Gin is a collaborative exploration with UK based experimental electronic artist Stuart Howard (aka LAPALUX) - Resembling an Old Tom style, Oblivion Gin sits at a generous 48% abv. Juniper and Star anise give basis to a floral palate of Elderflower & Lavender, with Black Goji berries providing fruity highlights. A post-distillation addition of Butterfly pea completes the transformation to create a Gin that is uniquely inspired by the same themes of life, death and rebirth that heavily influence Stuart's music.

Over the past few months, we've been spending time with UK based artist LAPALUX (aka Stuart Howard). An English music producer from Essex. He has cemented his significance in experimental electronic music, releasing four albums and numerous EPs on Brainfeeder within the last decade. Howard’s works are markers of his growth as an artist; emotive resolutions with chaos and harmony, life and death, and loss and love. His latest album ‘Amnioverse’ revolves around notions of fluidity; that life, death and rebirth play into a never-ending continuum.

We have had the luxury of connecting with Stuart over various late nights (for Stuart) and early mornings (for us) on zoom calls and google hangouts, trialling recipes and going through Gin tastings. Throughout the development process, with which Stuart has been heavily involved, there has been one aim... to create a Gin that is uniquely inspired by the same themes of life, death and rebirth that heavily influence Stuart's music.

• Four Pillars Rare Dry Gin Salt

A collaboration with Australia’s oldest family owned sea salt maker, Olsson’s Salt, and Four Pillars Gin.Four Pillars have taken their Spent Rare Dry Gin botanicals, dehydrated them and blended it with Olsson’s Marine MineralGrey Salt. The Marine Mineral Grey Salt, Australia’s first “selgris”, comes from the ocean and tastes just like the sea. This mixed with Four Pillars nine botanicals makes for a stunning salt perfect for seasoning a roast chicken or pork loin, roasted vegetables (especially spuds), or sprinkled on stir-fried greens, curing fish like salmon or kingfish and makes an amazing salted caramel to pour over vanilla ice cream.
