ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE

  • In order to make purchases on our website you will be required to provide your personal details, consisting of your genuine name, date of birth, phone number, e-mail address and other requested information as indicated. 
  • Furthermore, you will be required to provide payment details that you represent and warrant are both valid and correct and you are authorised to use the provided payment information.
  • If your purchase contains alcohol, it is a condition of the purchase, and a legal requirement, that you verify that you are 18 years of age or over (which you will have to confirm before any order can be processed).
  • You also acknowledge that, being a gift business specialising in hampers and not in selling alcohol, we reserve the right to suspend or cancel any self-created/-selected order whose value of alcoholic items is greater than 50% of the overall order.
  • We reserve the right to restrict multiple quantities of an item being shipped to any one customer or postal address in line with obligated liquor supply restrictions.

  • All prices shown on this Site are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
  • All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.
  • We are not liable to you for delays to, interruptions of or cessation of the services provided in the website, or linked services.
  • Information on this website is provided in good faith. The Seller aims at providing accurate specifications in relation to its marketed products and is putting every effort into publishing information that is as true to the item and circumstance as can be. However, we do not guarantee errors or omissions may occur and descriptions, photographs, weights/dimensions and any other particularities associated with or given are for illustrative purposes and may vary. Macedon Ranges Hampers endeavours to keep these variations within reasonably to be expected deviations but does not represent or warrant to the reliability, accuracy or completeness of the information contained on this website.
  • The Seller holds the right to make any necessary corrections as and when deemed necessary and appreciate any feedback in this regard to ensure the best possible customer experience.

 

PLACING ORDERS 

  • Every order requires the order of Gift Wrapping.
  • Items in your shopping basket are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. 
  • It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the order details provided are correct, including but not limited to contact/recipient details, hamper/product choice, and gift card message if applicable.
  • Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. 
  • This email is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it. 
  • Bulk orders are initiated via our Contact Form or an email enquiry to sales@macedonranges.com.au.

 

ORDER ACCEPTANCE & AVAILABILITY

  • Acceptance of your order (unless you cancel your order) and completion of the contract between you and The Seller will be completed when the goods have been dispatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in Victoria, Australia by acceptance through Macedon Ranges Hampers.
  • We seek to only offer products for sale that are in stock and available for dispatch within a reasonable period of time. However, in certain circumstances, an ingredient or item may not be available. Should this occur, we shall seek to . If we are unable to get hold of the purchaser, we will replace the product with an alternative of equal or greater value.
  • We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.
  • In the event of a rejection, we will endeavour to notify you of that rejection at the time you place the order or within a reasonable time after you submit your order.
  • We may also reserve the right to stop, unwind or suspend any transaction after processing has begun at our sole discretion.
  • We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of withdrawing any of our advertised products as the Site only constitute a marketing tool that invites potential buyers to make an offer. The closing of sale will only come into effect with Macedon Ranges Hampers accepting your order.
  • All purchases are limited for personal use only and we reserve the right to cancel any orders deemed to be for the purposes of commercial resale.

 

PAYMENT

  • Payment can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards), PayPal, and any other methods which may be clearly advertised on the website from time to time. 
  • Payment will be debited and cleared from your account upon order by the Seller. 
  • You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours or that you have been specifically authorised by the owner of the credit/debit card to use it. 
  • All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Macedon Ranges Hampers, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

 

 

ORDER AMENDMENTS / Change of Mind / Cancellation

  • If you change your mind about your order or require alterations (for instance adjustment of quantities, correction of delivery address, contact details) prior to the order being dispatched before/prior to it is being shipped / on route with our couriers i.e. before the contract has been completed, we are happy to accommodate and either change or cancel your order.

  • An item is being considered shipped/completed when the customer receives the dispatch confirmation. 
  • Otherwise customers are only entitled to a refund or replacement for a major problem with a product as covered by consumer guarantees.

 

 

SHIPPING & DELIVERY

  • Prices provided on the website exclude delivery.
  • Gift wrapping costs are not covering delivery costs. 
  • Macedon Ranges Hampers delivers Australia wide. International shipping is not available.
  • Dispatch of orders is during our standard business hours, Mo-Fr 9.00 am-4.00 pm, unless agreed otherwise. Therefore, orders placed outside of those times and days or on public holidays will generally be handled at the next operating day. 
  • Time between successful order and completion of the contract by means of dispatch or availability for pick up is generally done within 24 hours.
  • Provided delivery times are estimates only and we cannot guarantee delivery by any particular time. 
  • Delivery costs are calculated at basket check out and generally vary dependant on the shipping route and demands for fast delivery (i.e. standard shipping $15). Special discounted conditions apply to bulk orders.
  • We utilise a network of courier companies that may change from time to time depending upon your location.
  • If the recipient is not present at the time of delivery, the courier company will drop the delivery at the local post office for pick up. 
  • You may provide specific delivery instructions, including authorisation for the order to be left at your address, during the checkout process.
  • We are not liable for unforeseen circumstances such as theft, loss or damage once your order has been left at the nominated delivery place.
  • We are able to provide tracking numbers for your orders and assist with any delivery requirements that you may have (location, contact person, time, …).
