Our founder, John Ellis has always been known as ‘The eternal diplomat’ throughout the wine industry. His talent for bringing people together helped open the way for the separation of the Bendigo and Heathcote wine regions in the early 2000’s. This wine is a marriage of grapes from those two regions.
2022 was a warm (but not hot), dry year. This resulted in a robust, fruit driven wine with a perfumed nose and excellent structure with plenty of silky smooth tannins.
Warm days and cold nights in the Bendigo and Heathcote regions produce rich, generous and full bodied Cabernet Sauvignons with complex tannins.
